South African Safari 2002What a beautiful country. We went at the right time of the year for weather, begining of October. Haylee-Ann, Keith, and Carrie couldn't say that wasn't the best family vacation, it was! Weather was like fall in Michigan without the rain, warm days and cool nights. We met our deer friends Claudia and Harry Lybrink on their second week of Safari.While Keith got 5 trophies they together got 14, WOW. Haylee went with us on the first day and here is what she slept through in the blind. Beautiful female. 20 minutes is all it took for Keith to get her. Boy was he excited. |
Blessed Blesbuck
This one wasn't such an easy hunt as the Gemsbuck. Keith and Mike (PH) hunted long and hard for this evasive critter. Not a bad trophy for the anguish the guys went through for this bad boy. |

Gorgeous Impala
This one almost made Carrie think about hunting. But no hope in that. Keith knew he hit him but thought he lost him. He wasn't even waiting for an impala, he was waiting for those darn Black N White Ninjas aka Disco Donkey, Zebra. What a beautiful animal. |
