Jigoku-Sama’s Restricted Romance
CHAPTER 7:
THE NEMESIS
Mean while, a
group of boy were leaning to a fence smoking cigarettes. One of them was looking
at Kai talking with the new friends he had met.
“Who the hell
is that?” asked the boy.
“Well,
telling by his clothes he must be loaded. Let’s go beat the shit out of him and
take his cash.” said the boy next to him.
They put out
their cigarettes and began walking towards the group. Some of the boys were
cracking their knuckles and rubbing their fists in preparation for an easy
mugging.
“Uh oh,
guys.” said Suki in a worried voice. “Here comes Satoshi and his gang. You’d better
go, Kai.”
“Why?”
“Satoshi is
the worst person at this school. Him and his gang are always hungry for money.
If you don’t leave they’re going to beat you up and take your money. And
they’re probably going to do the same with the boys, they always do.” said
Toshi.
“Yeah, its
surprising people like that would have even enough decency to leave us girls’ alone.”
said Kasumi.
“Perhaps I
should go talk to him. I’m sure we can arrange something with minimal bloodshed.”
said Kai trying to look tough in front of the group.
“We
appreciate the kindness but, don’t be a fool!” said Daisuke. “You could have a
knife and bomb for all we care but, there’s no way you can take on eight guys
like that. You’ll be killed and torn apart and your remains burnt to ashes!”
Suddenly,
Satoshi and his gang arrived in front of them.
“Too late!”
cried Ayane.
“I’ll go and
get teacher!” said Yuki.
“No.” said
Kai. “This person needs to be taught a lesson and should learn not to pick on people
like that.”
“So, I take
it you don’t come from this city am I right?” said Satoshi.
“Correct. I’m
from Hong Kong.” said Kai.
“Really? We
have our karate and you are supposed to know kung-fu or whatever. Why don’t you
show us some of that?” said Satoshi.
“I didn’t
come to fight.” said Kai, clenching his fists in anticipation.
Kai took off
his coat and threw it to Suki. Satoshi chuckled.
“But if you
insist, I would be glad to oblige.”
“Hold it; I
didn’t say you’d be fighting me did I? I don’t think you’re really all that
tough. It would be a waste of my energy.” he said.
Satoshi
pointed to one of his henchmen. The
henchman grinned.
“You, go
break the Chinaman’s legs.”
“My
pleasure.” said the henchman.
The henchman
pulled out a miniature novelty baseball bat.
“You’re
fighting with weapons?” said Kai. “Where is the honour in that?”
“Screw
honour, this is a street fight. You’re welcome to use weapons too, if you have any.”
Satoshi said.
Kai shrugged
his shoulders. Suddenly a belt flew into his hand. Kasumi winked.
“I need
that!” yelled Daisuke as he was trying to keep his pants up while being
restrained by the others.
Satoshi laughed and nodded his head for the
fight to commence. Kai stood his guard with his weapon taut between his hands.
The henchman charged pulling his bat back and getting ready to swing.
The henchman
yelled as he swung downwards towards Kai’s head. Satoshi was smiling evilly,
thinking that the fight was about to finish with a single blow from his
henchman. He was wrong.
Kai raised
the belt as the bat came down. Kai blocked it using all his effort to stop the bat
from coming down. He blocked the strike. Then Kai slid his belt down the bat to
the henchman’s wrist and wrapped the belt around it.
Satoshi’s
smile turned to a frown as Kai spun around and flipped the henchman over his shoulder
and slamming him hard on to the ground. Satoshi now angry waved his hand and signaled
two more of his men to try and hurt Kai. Kai was now unarmed as the belt had
gone with his adversary to the ground. Kai put his fists in front of him
preparing to take some bombardment from the branch and skateboard the henchmen
were wielding.
“Kai! Catch!”
Suki yelled.
Suki threw Daisuke’s
math book to him.
“Hey I didn’t
think I’d be mugged by you guys!” cried Daisuke.
Kai caught it
and immediately put it to use. He threw the open book in one of the henchmen’s
face, blinding him. He then threw a quick punch to the stomach and took the book
off to fight the other henchman. The boy swung his skate board but, Kai dodged
it. He continued dodging swing and stabs of the skateboard until an opportunity
turned up.
Finally, the
henchman swung. As Kai ducked down his made a sweep with his right leg which
knocked the henchman off his feet. He then rushed over to jab the book in his stomach.
Suddenly, Satoshi signaled for all his henchmen to go after Kai.
“Oh shit!
Kai’s going to get destroyed, I can’t watch!” said Ayane.
“No!” Toshi
said solemnly holding his fist up. “We cannot just stand idly by and let him get
beat to death although it would be easier. If just one person can stand up to
Satoshi and his gang then surely seven of us can too!”
“But, Toshi
They’ve got weapons.” said Suki.
“Oh. Damn.
Then you girls go get the supervisor and we men will have to defend our fallen
comrade with our lives!” said Toshi his emotions rising again. “Uh, girls?”
The girls had
begun running into battle, Kasumi shouting war cries.
“Well, there
goes our masculinity. Here’s the plan.
As soon as we get those guys away from Kai, someone has to go get the
supervisor! ” said Suki.
The boys
began searching for weapons. Suki found a pen, Toshi had found some peppermint
gum and Daisuke had adopted his pants as a weapon as he could no longer support
them.
Kai who had
been blocking so many hits was now wincing in pain repeatedly as he was being
kicked in the ribs. Suddenly, all of his new friends jumped in to help. Toshi
went to work rubbing the unwrapped gum in the eyes of one of the henchmen as he
screamed in agony. Suki tackled one of the other henchmen and began poking him
repeatedly with his pen.
Kasumi was
sneaking up on one of the henchmen who was currently busy struggling with Daisuke.
She was about
to give him an elbow in the head when the henchman swung backwards and struck
Kasumi in the face.
“You!” she
screamed. “You hit my beautiful face! Die!”
“I’m sorry!”
the Henchman yelled as he realized who he hit.
The henchman
began to run away but, she caught up to him. She tripped him and began dragging
him by his hair. While Megumi was
beating down one of the henchmen with her backpack, Ayane and Yuki were kicking
and beating another one with their books.
When Kai came
to his senses, he noticed that no one was hitting him and that all the henchmen
were fighting against his friends. Kai was relieved that his friends were ok
but, suddenly the tables turned. The henchmen regained control of their
weapons.
Satoshi and
his men were about to finish off his friends when he saw an adult running towards
them.
“That’s it!
Stop! There is no fighting allowed!” yelled the supervisor.
“They started
it!” said Satoshi.
“I’m finding
that hard to believe considering the fact that you boys are holding weapons.
Report to the
head masters office immediately, all of you!” said the supervisor. He then caught
sight of Kai. “You! Go back to your own school, get out of here now!”
“Before you
leave, where do you live?” asked Suki.
He did not
want them to know where he lived for a fear it would bring some form of trouble
so in response to Suki’s question he replied
“A booth.”
