Well, would you look at that...green lights across the board. Anyway, as I was saying, today marks the first installment of my recent time waster. My on-going progress on the Trajan novella has taken a short hiatus while I cook up new plot developments, so in the meantime I went back to my roots and started a short screenplay. As you may recall, most of my earliest writing projects took this form, and Trajan himself was expanded from one.
This time around, it's a parody of action movies. It's got them all, folks...Aliens, Blade Runner, and of course The Color Purple. In this first installment, we see some random people get killed before the opening credits, we meet our manly hero, and we see him given a mission. But don't worry, because future installments will feature him actually doing things.
Since so many recent action movies have been based on video games (and with the high quality seen so far, I can only forsee this trend growing exponentially in the future), it seems only logical that I skip the formalities and the middle man. Hence, the screenplay's title:
