Dell TARZAN no. 1, from January 1948, was Jesse Marsh's and Dell's third TARZAN effort, following on the success of Four Color no. 134 and Four Color no. 161. It was written by Robert P.Thompson, who also wrote the first two TARZAN/Jesse Marsh books. Bob Thompson had a skill well suited to this kind of an adventure story, and here he gives another rousing tale. The front cover and rear cover, once again done by Mr. Marsh, are truly exciting!
