Ray Parlour, undoubtably the most improved player in the league. A few seasons ago if he got the ball Arsenal fans would be sure he would loose it or play a silly pass, not any more. Right from the beggining of the 97/98 season it was clear Parlour was playing well. He made good long runs, showing pace and power never seen before. His passing also improved emensly. His hard work throughout the season nearly won him a call up to the England world cup squad, but he just missed out. Despite this Ray was not too upset as he is still young and if he continues with the consistancy and skill he is showing presently, England call up's are a certanty.
