Linda's Truths
I have learned many things during my stay here on earth. They are not in any particular order, only as I think of them. A few of those things include:
- Loving and Being Loved by Friends and Family is What Life is All About.
- It doesn't pay to take yourself too seriously.
- The most difficult people are usually the ones that are hurting the most.
- Learn to love yourself for what you are instead of hating yourself for what you aren't.
- Find a Job that You Love, and You Will Wake Up Happy on Monday.
- All People Are Special and Worth Knowing.
- Knowing Your Higher Power Personally Gives You an Inner Peace that Can't Be Bought.
- Peace in Your Heart is a Little Piece of Heaven Itself.
- It's Hard to Beat "Pralines n Cream" Ice Cream.
- Everyone Wants to Succeed; No One Wishes to be a Failure.
- Loving Yourself is the First Step to Loving Others.
- Learning is Lifelong; The More You Learn, The More You Realize that There is to Learn.
- Many Men Have Very Delicate Egos, and Women Aren't Much Different In That Regard.
- It Is Very Difficult to Say, "I Was Wrong. I'm Sorry".
- Sometimes all you can do is listen.
- Be Proud of Who You Are! God Doesn't make Junk!
- One Has to Give Respect in Order to Receive Respect.
- Most every meal is better with jalapenos.
- Worry opens the door to Satan's room of doubt and terror.
- Loving Too Much is What Motherhood is all About.
- The Only Way to Have Friends is to Be a Friend.
- A Smile, Like Love, is Almost Always Returned.
- If You Aren't Making Mistakes Once In Awhile, You Aren't Working To Your Full Potential.
- Don't Wait Until Someone Dies to Say Something Nice About Him or Her.
- Appreciate Your Heritage.
- If a Friend Betrays You, He or She Wasn't the Friend You Thought You Had.
- No One on this Earth is Perfect.
- If You Hurt Someone on Purpose, You Eventually Pay Doublefold By Having to Experience the Same Sort of Hurt.
- When You are Older, You Will Never Regret the Time You Gave to Your Kids.
- Our Loved Ones Who Go Before Us Watch Over Us, and Often Signal to Us a Quick I Love YOU If We Are Open to Those Messages.
- Kids and Friends Sometimes Just Need a Hug.
- God Has a Sense of Humor.
- Sometimes it is Better Not to Say Anything.
- It is Much Harder to Respond Than it is to React.
- Regrets (defined by someone as 'Realizations that come too late') Cost You Dearly.
- The Only Stupid Question is One You Really Want to Know the Answer to, But Feel Too Stupid to Ask.
- Life Is Too Short to Spend It In Anger and Bitterness.
- We Are All Loved.
- You Can't Love Grandbabies Too Much.
- When You Take Chances With People, They Will Sometimes Let You Down.
- You Can Never Get Away From Your Own Conscience.
- No Matter Where You Go, You Always Wind Up "Here".
- The Spicier You Make Your Life, The More Heartburn You Will Have to Pay For Later.
- Waiting to Make Your Dreams Come True Is Often Old Folks' Biggest Regret.
- Babies Start Out With The Innocence God Desires For Us.
- If You Don't Take Chances You Will Stay Safe, But Bored Silly.
- When You Try To Do God's Planning For Him, He Sometimes Will Make It So Just To Let You See He Knew Best, After All.
