History: (Martian Manhunter II #13-16) - Red Saturnians Commander Jogarr, Prime Minister Dall and White Saturnians Queen Tareesha, Johm, Prelate Balik and Commander Synn opposed the peace between their races that would come about if Prince Jemm married Princess Cha’Rissa, and would put aside their differences to stop it. They joined minds and bodies to form the gestalt being Cabal, and hired space pirate Captain Destiny to kill Jemm and Cha’Rissa. Destiny captured Cha’Rissa, but Martian Manhunter posed as Jemm to board Destiny’s ship. Manhunter mentally persuaded him to demand more money from his employer Cabal. Commaner Synn separated herself from Cabal and tried to destroy Destiny’s ship, claiming he’d killed Jemm and Cha’Rissa. Manhunter contacted her telepathically and demanded she stop, so she couldn't continue her attack without tipping her hand. Dall tried to assassinate Jemm as they approached the Saturnian city Tromfar where Jemm was to be married, but failed. Cabal tried to kill Destiny to make sure he didn’t talk, ut Manhunter confronted Cabal and they fought. Cabal incapacitated Manhunter by fusing him into a wall and threw aside caution to confront Jemm and Cha’Rissa face to face. Manhunter escaped the wall, posed as Jogarr, and Cabal allowed him into their gestalt. From within he battled them, and succeeded when Jemm used his soul gem to turn the minds of the Cabal against each other. Cabal’s mind and body were both shattered, rendering it harmless. Jogarr died in an attempt to kill Jemm.
