History: (JSA #39) - Da' Bomb was at a charity ball game where he laid eyes on Power Girl and became obsessed with her. He was convinced he was an alpha male and the only suitable partner for her. He was given a five year sentence at Blackgate for assault and armed robbery, but Bomb escaped Blackgate to meet Power Girl at a press conference in Central Park. PG's old enemy Force was already there to avenge his past defeats at PG's hands, so Bomb beat him to a pulp, told Power Girl how he felt about her and tried to kiss her. She rejected him, and they fought until she subdued him by hitting him in the head with a hundred-foot-crane, but despite his defeat he told her he was grateful for the chance to fight her. He returned to Blackgate, still convinced that he and Power Girl were meant to be.
