SHASTA'S FAVORITE THINGS TO DO:
Shasta is a one of a kind dog, when we went to pick her up, she came right to me. She was about 1 1/2 years old at the time, you can tell from being around her that she hadn't been treated the best that a dog should have been. You have to careful with stomping your shoes and careful of the way you pet her, never move to quick, she thinks your going to hit her.
After she came home with us, she didn't want anything to do with anyone else, very protective of us and our house. She's calmed down quite a bit, but she's still weary of other people.
When you look in her eyes, you know that she's thinking about something, I wish I could know what it was. She's always willing to give kisses, play with her stuffed animals and just be there for us and let us pet her. She gives unconditional love.
Shasta just won honorable mention in the Chinese Shar-Pe Club of America's Professional Photo Contest. Last year Tornado won. We're so proud of them and of the man who took them, Aden's of Paragould!
Now when it comes to who's the boss at our house, it's Shasta. She's the boss of Don, me and Tornado. Tornado is wherever Shasta is, unless there is food, but Tornado is another story. Visit her page to learn about our little doggie food disposal.
