"An artist is somebody who produces things that people don't need to have but that he -- for some reason -- thinks it would be a good idea to give them."
- Andy Warhol (1928 - 1987)
What you are is God's gift to you; what you make of it is your gift to God."

the maze of forms
lived in a distant dream city
where streets slipped silently
over dream bridges
where thousand-eyed houses
touched the sky
where men of a thousand
colors lived together
in peace.
It was called the New York
because it recreated the world
until that day when,
from a black sky, a wounded bird
fell on the dream city
the non-city of this world
the star city of a thousand dreams
become star-dust, dust dreams
horror, sadness.
A distant wind blowing
star dust lifting, dancing,
casting new shadows
on old forms.
