Beegal`s Big Bucket of Bliss!
My father`s father,James Thomson,aged 16,who lied about his age and joined up with the Royal Scots Fusiliers. After service in W.W.1,he re-enlisted in the 1st Battalion of the Queen`s Own Cameron Highlanders and was stationed for some time on the North West Frontier of India. These bank notes were brought back by him and my father,who was in the far-east with the navy during W.W.2
