War with Allah?

A Peace Plan of Allah Most High to all the nations of Earth

The Quran is no less than a Message to all the Worlds and that includes the modern financial world. Financial oppression of the poor is one of the major evils in all the Earth without question and usury is the means by which the oppressors oppress.

Thus, the Quran addresses this situation in no uncertain terms:

"Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Those who devour usury will not stand except as stands one whom the Satan by his touch hath driven to madness. That is because they say "Trade is like usury". But Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury.

Those who after receiving admonition from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (the offence) are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (forever).

Allah will deprive usury of all blessing, but will give increase for deeds of charity: for He loveth not any ungrateful sinner.

Those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and give to the poor what is due, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains of your demand for usury, if ye are indeed believers.

If ye do it not, TAKE NOTICE OF WAR FROM ALLAH and His messenger, but if ye repent, ye shall have your capital sums. Deal not unjustly and ye shall not be dealt with unjustly.

If the debtor is in a difficulty, grant him time till it is easy for him to repay. But if ye remit it by way of charity, that is best for you if ye only knew.

And fear the Day when ye shall be brought back to Allah. Then shall every soul be paid what it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly." (2:274-281 Quran)

Look about you at the madness you see among the nations of earth: though most of mankind professes belief in the only true God, they are nevertheless at each others' throats in a literal and spiritual sense! There are wars and rumors of wars in every direction, and one common thread of evil affecting all the nations is the practice of usury among them. How apt is the Quran's assessment that usurers are touched by Satan's madness!

Though charging usury to brethren was forbidden in the Law of Moses and even more strongly rebuked in the books of the Prophets, many Christians think nothing of keeping their money in banks, where it is loaned out to poor fellow-believers on usury. Thus the usurious world banking system profits mightily and those Christians profit along with it. Talk about an "unequal yoke"!

Some Christians point to Jesus' rebuke to the wicked and slothful servant in (Matthew 25:27 & Luke 19:23) to justify giving their money to banks to loan out at interest. But in these scriptures, Jesus told that servant who was afraid to trade with the LORD's money that he should have at least given it to the exchangers, who were NOT like modern bankers, but exchanged different types of money for a fee and only paid interest on money invested with them, charging interest to no one.

Before you try to justify loaning your money out on usury on even strictly business loans, remember the words of that same Jesus:

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal ...Sell that ye have and give alms: provide yourself bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. Matthew 6:19 Luke12:33

Thus, Jesus' counsel concerning the use of wealth is in accord with the Quran: "Allah will deprive usury of all blessing, but will give increase for deeds of charity". It is time that the nations took heed to Jesus' words and the further admonition of Allah via the Quran to BAN the practice of charging interest on loans!

If not, financial oppresssion through usury will continue to cause madness among men and add fuel to the threats of war and hatred rampant among us. This is not a matter of "democracy versus terrorism", it is a matter of cold hearted usury versus benevolent generosity ! It is simple to choose the right course between the two choices: usury (interest bearing loans) needs to be banned and benevolence needs to be encouraged by Law.

The Law of the LORD in Deuteronomy 25:35-41 ordained that every family would have land as their permanent possession: a dwelling place and the basic means of livelihood interest-free ! Use your money to help poor believers receive such a blessing if you want to avoid war with Allah.

Once this world was heavily afflicted by the practice of slavery, but as the people of earth were enlightened to slavery's injustice and cruelty, the practice of slavery was banned. Now is the time for the same realization to be made about usury and the same actions are to be taken against it : May Allah Most High speed Light to the people of earth to affect this much needed change !

Please forward this message to every upright person you know and let it be sent by many to the political leaders of our nations as well: there is a great hope for Peace in this course of action and ONLY the promise of War if we refuse Allah's counsel. Return to Table of Contents
