Good Morning Frame

Intermediate High Level

In my tutorials if you notice I love to use different plug ins and I hope you like using the Simple Filter Plug in. Have Fun!


What you will need to do this tutorial:
1. PSP 7
2. Flaming Pear Blade Pro
3. Graphic and sparkle and corner tubes used in this tutorial. Download and open in PSP.

4. Blade Pro Presets Download by Dee's Graphics. Download and unzip to the Blade Pro Environment and texture folder.

Let's Get Started

1. Open Graphic in PSP you may use the graphic I did or one of your own. Duplicate this image and close the original. This way you won't destroy your original image.
2. Go to Color Palette bottom Style Box and select solid color white.
3. Go to Image>Add Borders Symmetric checked Size 6 click Ok.
4. Select the white border with the Magic Wand tool.
5.Marching ants should appear around the white border only go to Effects>Plug Ins>Flaming Pear>Blade pro select Dee's Butterscotch preset.
6. Go to Selections>Invert.
7. Go to Selections>Float.
8. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Cutout Settings:

Vertical and Horizontal 10 Opacity 50 Blur 30 Color Black Click ok Redo your Cutout effect again this time changing only the horizontal and vertical to minus -10. Deselect your ants.

9. Go to Image>Add Borders Symmetric size 15 click ok.
10. Select the white border with the Magic Wand.
11.Go to Effects>Plug Ins>Simple>Zoom Out and Flip.
12. Go to Effects>Plug Ins>Simple>Diamonds. Deselect your ants.
13. Go to Image>Add Borders Symmetric size 6 click ok.
14. Go to Effects>Plug Ins>Flaming Pear>Blade Pro. Select Dee's Butterscotch preset once again.
15. Go to Selections>Invert
16. Go to Selections>Float
17. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Cut out settings:

Vertical and Horizontal 5
Opacity 50
Blur 15
Color Black
Click Ok
Do this step once again changing your vertical and horizontal to minus -5. Deselect the ants.

18. Go to Image>Add Borders>Symmetric size 4.
19. Select the white border with the Magic Wand.
20. Go to Color Palette top Style box and select solid color you want from your graphic. I used color #3F7489. Deselect the ants.
21. Go Image>Add Borders>Symmetric>size 4.
22. Select the white border with the Magic Wand.
23. Go to Effects>Plug Ins>Flaming Pear>Blade Pro select Dee's Butterscotch preset. Deselect the ants.
24. Open up the corner tube in PSP.
25. Go To Edit>Copy.
26. Click on your working image and go to Edit>Paste as a New Layer.
27. With the Magic Wand click around the outside of the tube.
28. Go to Selections>Invert. There should only be ants around the corner tube.
29. At this time you may select a blade pro preset I used the color in step #20 or the color you selected from the graphic of your choice.
30. Go to Effects>Sharpen>Sharpen. If you used a blade pro preset please skip this step. Deselect the ants.
31. Move this corner tube to the upper left hand corner of the frame.
32. Go to Layers>Duplicate.
33. Go to Image>Mirror.
34. Go to Layers>Duplicate.
35. Go to Image>Flip.
36. Go to Layers>Duplicate.
37. Go to Image>Mirror. The frame should now have a corners all the way around.
38. Open the white sparkle tube in PSP.
39. Go to Edit>Copy.
40. Click on working image go to Edit>Paste as a new layer. At this point it is up to you on how many sparkles you want to use. I also resized mine by 75 and 90 percent. You may select to do the same.
41. Go to Layers>Merge>All Flatten.
42. Go to Image>Resize. Make sure pixel size is checked and type in 300 and make sure no number in those two boxes is above 300. At the bottom make sure both boxes have a check mark. Click ok.
43. Save Your Image as JPG.
