Survivors include her sons and daughters-in law, Sonny and Esther Gallman of Ridgeland, Jay and Becky Gallman of Starkville, and Rose Gallman of Raymond; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ashland Gallman, Sr.; and a son, Joe Gallman. Interment was at Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Chancellor Funeral Home.

He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as chief usher, Sunday School superintendent, treasurer, and chairman of the deacon board. He is survived by his wife, Lenora Harrison-Gathings; three daughters, Doris Gathings and Vanetta (Gregory) Sykes of Gibson, and Therolyn Gathings of Memphis; a grandson, Timothy Gathings of Gibson; four sisters, LuOllie Holliday and Margaret Patrick of Chicago, Genevia Larry of Okolona, and Sara Ware (James) of Gary, IN; three brothers, Booker T. Gathings of Gibson, Felex (Hannah) Gathings of Raleigh, NC, and Page (Dollie) Gathings of Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Gilbert of Evanston, IL, and Laria Ware-Gathings of Cleveland, TN; and a brother-in-law, John Collins of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Frankie Collins; and five brothers, Prince, Goland Jr., Anthony, William, and Willie B. Services were held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Gober Sr.; son, Ezar Charles Gober; and sister, Charlene Gober. Survivors include his mother, Lucille Gober of Coahoma; wife, Mary Washington of Clarksdale; two daughters, Yolanda Gober of Jonestown and Andrea Gober of Memphis; four brothers, Robert Lewis Gober of Madison, Wis., Varnell Gober of St. Paul, Minn., Larry Gober of Chicago and James Gober of Clarksdale; three sisters, Edith Mae Morgan and Mary Smith of Memphis and Loretta Gober of Chicago; and nine grandchildren. McCOMB, MISSISSIPPI: Mary Gill Godbold, 83, died February 4, 2009. She was born February 10, 1925 to George Gill and Leona Howard Gill. She worked for many years at Vest Shoes, and First National Bank (now Trustmark). She was an active member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Cecilian Circle. She was a former longtime member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gill and Lisa Godbold of San Jose, CA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Steve Stewart of Bentonville, AR, and Jane and Dr. Sherrod "Shade" Quin of McComb; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde and Mary Gill of Summit, and Chester and Elaine Gill of Metairie; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Patrick Godbold; an infant son, Loubet Brock; two brothers; and two sisters. She worked at garment plants in Amory and Smithville, and also farmed. She had lived in Smithville since 1934. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, as well as her animals. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Cox of Northport, AL, and Helen Patterson (Joe) of Canton, GA; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Vardie Jackson; her parents; her sisters, Julia Ray Bowen (her twin), Winona Hill, Minnie Lee Jones, Annabell Evans, Emma Palmer, and Loucille Welch; and four brothers, Houston Dabbs, Moses Dabbs, Austin Dabbs, and Burley Dabbs. Services were held at Christians Rest Methodist Church, Bro. Tommy Inmon officiating. Burial was at Christians Rest Cemetery. Arrangements by Browning Funeral Home of Ecru. Survivors include a sister, Ethel Champion of Thaxton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Lively; a son, James Royce Lively; three sisters, Mamie Hudson Chesteen, Pearl Hudson Warren, and Eula Hudson Glasgow; two brothers, Lonnie and Earl Hudson; and a special niece, Midge Warren Wilbanks.

WIGGINS, MISSISSIPPI: Irene Ivy Livingston, age 63, died on February 6, 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Wiggins. She is survived by her husband, James Robert Livingston of Perkinston; one son, Mark Robert Livingston of Saucier; one daughter, Marjori Livingston of Tempe, Arizona; two sisters, Dorothy Turnbaugh of Seattle, Washington and Margaret Newton of Sun City, Arizona; three brothers, Sidney Jordan of Chandler, Arizona, Herb Jordan and Charles Jordan both of Apache Junction, Arizona; and seven grandchildren. Services were held on February 10, 2005 at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins, with interment at Wiggins City Cemetery.

WIGGINS, MISSISSIPPI: Virginia Loveless, 85, died August 22, 2006. She attended Tishamingo Church of Christ and was retired from retail sales and the clothing industry. Survivors include her husband, Vaden Loveless; a daughter, Patty Bull; a son, Terry Loveless all of Wiggins; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a brother, Bill McAllister of Birmingham, AL. Interment was at Wiggins City Cemetery under the direction of Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins, MS.

MADISON, MISSISSIPPI: Covert A. Lundy, 91, died October 4, 2002. He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by four daughters, Esther Martin of Lanark, Ill., Frances Berniece Dean and Thelma L. Harrison, both of Little Rock and Helen L. Barber of Madison; two sons, C.A. Lundy, Jr. of Rockford, Ill. and Jerry H. Lundy of Louisville; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two sisters, Hattie Pullen of Philadelphia and Ann Smith of Jackson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Talbert Lundy, and three grandchildren. Interment was at Linwood Baptist Church Cemetery with arrangements by Milling Funeral Home of Union.

LUNSFORD, FeFe
GREENWOOD, MISSISSIPPI: FeFe Lunsford, 101, died January 30, 2005. She was a native of Thornton, and was a longtime resident of New Orleans, LA prior to moving to Greenwood in the early 1980s. In New Orleans, she worked for a number of years as a sales assistant and cashier for Godchaux's. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Phillip Carnaggio of Greenwood, who served as her caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Lunsford. Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Yazoo City. Burial was at Glenwood Cemetery.

SENATOBIA, MISSISSIPPI: Samuel Hugh "Nub" Lusk, 91, died November 2, 2003. He retired from Kimberly-Clark in Memphis. He was a Mason, a World War II veteran, and a member of Highland Baptist Church. He is survived by a brother, Edgar Ray "Bo" Lusk of Belzoni, MS; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie P. Lusk. Interment was at Bethesda Cemetery under the direction of C.O. Pate Funeral Home.

OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI: Garland Lee Luther, 54, died April 1, 2005. He was a disabled United States Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Luther; a daughter, Megan Smith of Oxford; a stepdaughter, Jamie Simpson of Marion, IL; three brothers, Ronnie Luther of Holly Springs, Ricky Luther of Horn Lake, and Jessie Luther of Saltillo; and 2 grandchildren. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley under the direction of Latham Funeral Home.
