DUNAGAN CEMETERY
The Dunagan Cemetery is located near Evansville, Arkansas on Hale Mountain Road (County Road #3). This road is across the street from the Evansville Post Office. You'll have to drive a bit to see this cemetery, maybe a few miles. Watch carefully for it, as it is a small cemetery. If you turned at the Post Office to take this road, then the cemetery should be on your left. Do not confuse the Dunagan Cemetery with other cemeteries on this road (such as the Academy Cemetery).
This cemetery is a well-kept, older cemetery. It is fenced; there is a wooden sign at the front gate. There is a private residence directly behind the cemetery.
An asterisk (*) denotes burials said to be in this cemetery, but which I did not personally view. It doesn't mean that these graves aren't there, but simply that I didn't see them during this visit. A few of the tombstones were quite difficult to read. There were also a couple of unreadable funeral home markers.
