The Fitzgerald Cemetery is located in Springdale, Arkansas. To get there, take Highway 71 north through Springdale. Turn right onto Randal Wobbe Road (listed on some maps as Randal Road). As of this writing, there is a Pizza Hut at the corner of 71 and Randal Wobbe Road. So drive a couple of miles on Randal Wobbe Road, and you will see the cemetery on your right. Look for it at the intersection of Randal Wobbe and Old Wire Road. Do not confuse it with Forest Park Cemetery, which is also on Randal Wobbe Road (Fitzgerald is the smaller of the two graveyards). Many of the graves are well-tended, but there are also some unreadable metal funeral home markers, unmarked graves, and homemade stones that were impossible to read. The cemetery is still in use. There are a few graves for the Fitzgerald family that are enclosed within a separate small fence with a sign reading, "Private Cemetery, Est. 1860". Outside that enclosure is another sign on a small archway that simply reads, "Fitzgerald".
An asterisk (*) denotes a person listed by funeral home or other records as being in this cemetery, but whose stone I did not personally see. It does not mean that the stone isn't there; I just didn't see it on this particular visit.
