Story of Dacenne

Black sky, blue tears
Blue eyes, darker fears
A yellow leaf floats down silently
Unbreakable is the wall of clouds
Mid-autumn knocking at our door

We didn't remember where we planted those roses
Then we forgot we planted them at all
When the first snowflake came down from above
Our hearts were surronded by the coldest walls

Shades of the attic didn' bother to scare me
They just wanted to go on their infinite sleep
The world seemed so cold behind the dusty glass
Before my eyes the years passed

Large owl white as snow
Like a piece of ancient, forgotten land
Hovering over the deepest sea
Reminding me about my freedom
I took off and threw away your key

"For agony shall be my triumph
For shall the night always call my soul
For better, for worse
Will you accept this sacrifice, O Great Night?"
