Iridescent layer: blue/green = Bl and bl (incomplete dominance)
Bl Bl = green
Bl bl = royal blue
bl bl = steel blue
Si = spread iridocytes, metalic sheen over whole body. (dominant)
non blue = nb? does this exist?
Red layer
NR = red (dominant to non red)
nr = non red (recessive to red)
nr2 = orange (recessive)
Er or R = extended red, red over whole body (dominant)
L = reduced red = red loss (dominant)
Vf = varigated fins, butterfly (dominant)
Yellow layer
nb + nr + m = yellow coloring. Is there a gene for yellow specifically?
Black layer
m = Melano, increased black pigmentation (recessive)
c = non black, Cambodian (recessive)
b = Blonde or Bright (recessive) strong colors (ex. red compared to maroon)
other
Op = Opaque mixes with all colors. (incomplete dominance)
Albino = genetic defect. recessive, no pigment, red eyes.
w = white eye (recessive)
mb = marbled (recessive)
C = solid colored fish, vs. c = cambodian?
