An Acoustic Levitation Chamber

I orignially designed and built this in 1987. It levitates objects within the cube by standing waves of acoustic radiation forces.
It simulates zero gravity conditions.

These area few of the many video tapings I did in 1988 on levitating various objects using RESONANT SOUND WAVES at a frequency of 600 Hertz. Poeple who view this sometimes ask me if this could be the method Joshua used in the battle of Jericho, to knock down the city walls. I usually retort with; "I dunno, I wasn't there:-)))

This is my computer rendered model.
It levitates objects(blue sphere) within the reflector elements by standing waves of acoustic radiation forces.
It simulates zero gravity conditions & levitates both metallic and non-metallic objects.
It has a resonant frequency of 1 MegaHertz
