Duchess Lyn is also Mistress Candaces Pelican.
As a Royal Peer and a Pelican of Atenveldt Lyn has accomplished much in her SCA life. Leading as an example she is mentor to us all and we are thankful and proud to have her in our lives.
Receiving her Award of Arms in 1972,Queen in 1977 and receiving her Solar Phoenix the same year. In 1983 she was Queen once again and was given the award of Keeper of the Solar Heart.1984 she received the Palm of the Barony of Atenveldt.In 1992 she was once again given the Keeper of the Solar Heart,1993 Commander of the Solar Phoenix,1994 She became a Mistress of the Order of the Pelican. In 1997 and 2001 she received the Queens Cypher and to date is still very active and going strong.

This woman will never cease to amaze and inspire me.
Not only is this woman a shining example of grace and beauty, but she has devoted so very much of her being to the dream and to those whom aspire to live it with her.
Each moment is a lesson of learning and wonder.
I could not boast more about this woman and am truly greatful and honored to have her in my life.
Not only as my role model, but as a cherished friend.
