There is a design slide show at the bottom of the page where you can see the effects of optimizing a JPG file to a very low amount of bytes. The SLIDE SHOWS are under construction as of Dec. 10, 2001 and should be operational just as soon as I figure out how to do it. | It is important for a drawing to open quickly. For a drawing to load quickly the file must be optimized or reduced to a small number of kilobytes , and the image should be sized to 6 or 7 inches wide , or smaller, and reduced to about 72 DPI, or slightly higher. The more you reduce the dot per inch (DPI), of a graphics file, the more blurred it becomes when you enlarge it. You must sacrafice a little definition and accept a little blur if the drawing is to load quickly. I have placed this reading at the top of the page, so that the graphic files maybe loading while you are reading. |

Below you will find a SLIDE SHOW button Click and see 80 designs that were saved as JPG files. I optimized these files, that were about 60,000 bytes, down to around 7,000 bytes, this should allow them to load faster, but generally this will cause a blur. The blurr is not too bad in these designs, but if they were photographs or drawings they would have to be of higher quality. SLIDE SHOW CLOSED Still trying to get this slide show to where it does not take ten minutes to load at 56 K |
