District 3's 1999 Communication and Leadership Award was presented to author, columnist, TV program host and commentator, Jana Bommersbach.
Conference Co-Chairs Hal Key, ATM, and Colleen Humpal, DTM, provided the organizational committee leadership to coordinate 
the many responsibilities required in producing an excellent conference.

Brian Cavanaugh, ATM, Speakwell Honeywell, won the International Speech Contest at the District 3 level and Liz Bebo, DTM, Talk of the Tower, won the District Evaluation Speech Contest.
The District  leadership team elected for the 1999-2000 term included Kelli McDoulett, District Governor; P.J. Glauz, Lt. Governor Education & Training; and Virginia Richtar, Lt. Governor Marketing.

Hal Key has been named Public Relations Officer by District Governor elect, Kelli McDoulett, DTM.
Past International President Helen Blanchard, DTM,  accepts a gift and certificate from District Governor, Jodie Kay Petra, DTM, following her "One Score and Six" presentation.
