American Anti - Vivisection Society - An international, non - profit, animal rights organization dedicated to ending animal experimentation, research, & testing. They also oppose ALL forms of cruelty to animals. Our tape label Sub/Stance did a benefit tape compilation for them last year!

Anarchist Black Cross - A great organization providing much needed support for anarchists and political activists & prisoners around the world. Also a great information source for ways that you can become politically involved in working for change.

Anarchy Mid-Atlantic Infoshop - An amazing online project containing information on all sorts of information and events centered around anarchism and activism. If you're looking for any type of information relating to anarchism, chances are you will find it here.

The Anarchy Organization (TAO) - A cool page with a good amount of information on events going on through out the world. Includes information from the student activist network, a calendar of events, and lots of other stuff as well.

Animal Legal Defense Fund - An organization whose purpose is to work with volunteer lawyers to defend animals from abuse and exploitation in research laboratories, on farms, in the wild and as companion animals.

Animal Liberation Brigade - A great page that, obviously, covers lots of animal rights issues. There are a whole mess of links on this page that will give you lots of information that you need to know.

Animal Liberation Collective - A collective, from Canada, of individuals working to further the cause of the animal rights movement.

Anti-Fascist Forum - An info-group dedicated to distributing information about fascist activity and anti-fascist activism in order to build a more unified and powerful anti-fascist movement.

Corporate Watch - All sorts of information on "anti-"campaings and the wrong doings of corporations throughout the world. Very informative.

Critical Masses E - Zine - A cool on line zine done by two guys that features a huge archive of great writings and information.

Death Row Inmates & the Death Penalty - An eye opening page that takes a look at the death penalty & its faults. They provide a huge list of prisoners that are currently on death row that claim they are innocent of the crimes they have been charged with (and the list is huge). There are also links to other rsources for anti death penalty groups as well.

East Timor Action Network - A great resource for information about East Timor & its struggle for self determination & ways that you can help them gain that freedom. Lots of information & concrete ways that you can help work for change.

The Electra Pages-  A great place to go if you're looking for anything to do with the womens' movement. With over 200 catagories of issues & interests spanning the feminist spectrum, this is the place to go for just about anything you need that's related to feminism.

Emma's Place - A page dedicated to online anarchism. There's some really cool stuff here, including stuff on working to dismantle the defense forces, anti-capitalist debate, anarchist humor, and more stuff that will develop in the future.

Equus Sanctuary - A page dedicated to ending the inhumane treatment of horses. This page is filled with tons of information, very disturbing/graphic pictures of the horse slaughter & premarin industries, and information on ways that you can get involved and make a difference to help stop this abuse and torture.

Free Mumia Abu Jamal Mail Form - This is quite simple and only takes a second so please stop by here. This link takes you to a form letter that you simply attach your name & email address to which states that you believe that Mumia has been denied his constitutional rights & should be released. After you put in your name & email, you send it & the letter is delivered to the President, the Gov. of PA., Lt. Gov. of PA., PA. Court System, US Dept. of Justice, Amnesty International, & Refuse & Resist. It's really easy and only takes a few seconds so please do it!

Free Speech Internet TV - An amazing site that is the first audio/video hub on the internet created by its membership. Contains all sorts of powerful information from people like Noam Chomsky, to information on the situations in Chiapas. all available in Real Audio/Video & texts.

Hatewatch - A non profit group that is involved in monitoring and combating hate groups on the internet.

Houston Food Not Bombs - a webpage for the Food Not Bombs chapter in Houston with a list of upcoming events, a history of food not bombs, a directory of other FNB chapters, as well as recipes and more.

If an agent knocks... - A very thorough page with information on federal investigators and what you should do if you're confronted by the FBI.

In Defense of Animals - An animal rights organization that is dedicated to ending exploitation and abuse of animals by defending their rights, welfare & habitat.

International Concerned Family & Friends of Mumia Abu Jamal - An awesome page dedicated to providing support for political prisoner Mumia Abu Jamal. This contains a huge amount of information from articles written by Mumia himself, to an extensive look into how his rights have been violated and ways that you can help restore justice.

Jericho 98 - An amnesty campaign for the release of political prisoners from US prisons. Go here to find out how you can help out and be a part of the march in Washington.

Justice for Johnny Gammage - A page seeking justice for Johnny Gammage, an African-American man who was murdered by 5 police officers in 1995. There is lots of information here on ways that you can become active in helping with this struggle, as well as information on other issues surrounding police brutality & racism.

Justice for Silvia Baraldini - A page to gain support for political prisoner Silvia Baraldini, a 50 year old Italian citizen who has been in prison for the past 16 years, serving a 40 year sentence (a sentence longer than most rapists & murderers receive), over a crime she did not commit. Korean Immigrant Workers Advocates - A grassroots organization working to empower Korean immigrant workers through education & development of leadership in the Korean community. They also strive to work together with other disempowered communities working for their rights.

Leonard Peltier Defense Fund - A page about Leonard Peltier's situation and the things being done to secure justice for an innocent man. They need support so please help.

Lesbian Mothers Support Society - A non - profit group from Canada working to provide support to lesbian mothers & their children. They are also involved in a number of other issues working to gain equal treatment of lesbian families in society.

Liberated Existence - A very well done page about the struggle for true freedom. Includes information on what is happening both locally and across the globe by people working for real social change.

May Day on the Web - A cool page to celebrate May Day, the International working class holiday. All sorts of artwork, information on events, May Day history, as well as a cyber picket line & other information.

McSpotlight - One very informative page on McDonalds and its impact on the world. There is information on the McLibel trial, plus campaigns, insight into the company itself, a look into the media aspect of McDonalds, a debating room, and lots more.

Mike Flugennock's Commix - Original, political comics, along with commentary & information with each one. There are also sections for street flyers that you can print out & reproduce. A very cool page!

Mother Jones Interactive - Very informative page on a very wide spectrum of political issues. Ranging from class struggles to women's rights to just about anything else you can think of - it's here! A huge archive of writings & the main page is updated every week!

National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League - A group that started in 1969 that has had a tremendous amount of impact in promoting reproductive freedom & dignity for women & their families. Along with this, NARAL works to promote policies that make abortion less necessary through education programs, focusing on responsability, and working to develop programs that allow people to recieve more freedom in their decisions about sexuality & contraceptives.

National Commission for Democracy in Mexico - One hell of a page by a great organization. This page keeps you totally up to date on the struggles of the Zapatistas & has lots of very important information.

National Organization for Women - A huge organization working hard on all issues surrounding womens' rights. Their page has tons of information on all sorts of issues, as well as ways that you can take action. They also have news updates on current happenings & lots more.

National Women's Political Caucus - A grassroots organization dedicated to increasing the number of pro - choice women in office reguardless of political party affiliations. Lots of information plus a whole mess of speeches.

Native American Political Issues - A huge page covering all sorts of political issues. Everything from Big Mountain to lesser known issues that are of equal importance. Lots of ways that you can get involved to make a difference so check it out.

October 22 - A national day of protest to STOP Police brutality, repression, & the criminalization of a generation. This is an amazing page. Go here to find out all the information about where the October 22 protest is happneing in your town.

Peacefire - A teen run anti-censorship group that has managed to stir up a whole mess of trouble for companies like Cybersitter, and other such internet censorship companies. They are involved in a number of campaigns and have a lot of information on their page so please take a look and give them some support.

People Against Racist Terror - A very active Califonia based group dediacted to fighting against all forms of oppression. This page is simple and gives a bit of information about PART, Turning the Tide (an amazing newsletter that they publish), as well as other projects that they are involved in and how you can get in touch with them.

Physicians Committee For Resposible Medicine - A group of doctors & supporters working to promote nutrition, preventive medicine, and ethical research without the use of animals.

Protest.net - A huge bulletin board for protests and activist information worldwide. You need to go here!

Refuse & Resist - A great source for political activism & recent happenings on issues such as racism, art & culture, gay & lesbian rights, immigration rights, police brutality & more.

Settlers in Support of Indigenous Sovereignty A very important and informative page with a whole mess of information and history on indigenous struggles. Go here!

Sol Communications - A page dedicated to covering issues of the Navajo, Hopi, Dineh, & Uwa peoples as well as homelessness & environmental issues. Lots of info on situations at Big Moutain, Burma, homelessness, Sea Shepherd, and lots more.

Solidarity Group Political Prisoners - A page maintained by a group from Holland dedicated to international solidarity & social resistance. The texts are available in both english & dutch and contain lots of information on political prisoners from around the world & ways that you can make a difference in getting them released.

Student Activist Network - A forum of students working together and reaching out to other individuals and organizations to establish an effective system of networking and resistance throughtout the world.

Vegan Action - A really good, and active, animal rights organization. They carry lots of clothing, as well as other products, that are animal & eco friendly in addition to providing you with all sorts of information.

Vegan Outreach - A very active animal rights organization that is doing a hell of a lot in the way of education and distribution of literature. This group is working for real change & is accomplishing it, one person at a time!

War Resisters League - A pretty self explanitory title. A collective group of individuals dedicated to showing resistance for warfare in a nonviolent manner. Lots of good information on this site.

A Worker's Guide To Direct Action In the Workplace - Another pretty self explanitory title. lots of tips on ways that you can help to take action in your workplace. From sit down strikes to monkey wrenching, it's all here.

Zapatistas in Cyber Space - A great guide to analysis & resources relating to the Zapatistas. This site is a great example of just how useful the internet can be for linking activists together & informing people about important issues. This site is amazing. Go there now!!

Zero Population Growth - A grassroots organization working towards population stabalization/less people reproducing because of the affects our over population is having on our environment, social issues, and other related topics. I am not sure if I fully agree with everything on this page (such as their plan to initiate a government "plan" to take steps to stop the problem..this sounds somewhat scary to me), but there is a large amount of relevant information here that gives plenty of reasons why we need to stop reproducing.
