i first discovered BNL back in 1994. my first favorite song was "jane", of course. i went on to collect all of their major albums, a few of their singles and their interactive cd single for "shoe box". i now respect them completely, not only for using my name in a song ;-), but for their incredible talent for making music that can make you cry and smile in the same song.
the most recent addition to my collection is "stunt", their newest album. i bought it the day it came out on july 7th 1998 (and it went platinum in one month!). it is yet another astounding work by this amazing group of talented musicians.
i have seen the Ladies in concert many times. their shows are always filled with enthusiasm and surprises. one of their more recent stunts has been to invite security guard onto the stage to help them play a song.
if you've got any cool BNL stories, i'd love to hear them. email me if you think you're a bigger fan than me =)
