Walter Mohler grew up in Akron, Ohio. He has lived in the Foothills of Yuma since 1988. Other than four years of woodshop taken during High School, Walters skills were primarily self taught after his retirement.

All of his work is wonderful! He excels in his creations of wood Indian pottery replicas. He uses many different kinds of wood, such as, Walnut, Oak, Maple, Cherry, Purpleheart, Olive root, and more to produce works of art in glorious natural colors. He takes pride and uses meticulous care to make each piece as perfect as possible, and lovingly oils each finished product to further enhance the natural colors and beauty of the wood.

To own one of Walter's works is to own a unique masterpiece of superior quality craftsmanship. Walt Mohler has a wonderful talent, to be admired by all!
