Look after the well being of mind and body. 7. Treat the earth and that dwell thereon with respect. 8. Take full responsibility for your actions. 9. In most Eagle Dances you will see the dancers impersonating the Eagle swooping down to capture it's prey. The Eagle can also be seen descending from high above the clouds after a storm. Many believe the Eagle carries their prayers on its wings, up through the hole in the sky, to the Creator. So they dance in honor and use its feathers in their headdresses and prayer ceremonies. The Eagle reminds each of us of the importance of our own dreams and goals. Dreams give each day purpose and motivates us to take action. Dreams give guidance to each step we take. Never believe anyone who tells you that you cannot achieve your dreams. Believe in your ability to make your dreams come true. Never give up on yourself or your dreams!
