The SoberLady will leave you some thoughts, hers and
other people's on how we can become and be better women, which is
part of being a "Sober Woman" (Don't worry, click here for equal time
for the men.)
A GOOD WOMAN
- A good woman is proud. She
respects herself and others. She is aware of who she
is. She neither seeks definition from the person
she is with, nor does she expect them to read her mind.
She is quite capable of articulating her needs.
-
- A good woman is hopeful.
She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true.
She knows love, therefore she gives love. She recognizes
that her love has great value and must be reciprocated.
If her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears.
-
- A good woman has a dash of
inspiration and a dabble of endurance. She knows that she
will at times have to inspire others to reach the
potential God gave them.
-
- A good woman knows her
past, understands her present and forces toward the
future. A good woman knows God. She knows that with God
the world is her playground, but without God she will
just be played with.
-
- A good woman does not live
in fear of the future because of her past. Instead,
she understands that her life experiences are merely
lessons meant to bring her closer to self-knowledge and
unconditional self-love.
IT STARTS WITH A THOUGHT
Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they be come habits.
Watch your habits, they become character
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny
NEVER
FORGET
No man
is worth your tears and the only one who is will never make you
cry.
If you
love someone, put their name in a circle, instead of a heart,
because hearts can break, but circles go on forever.
Everyone
hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends
listen to what you don't say.
If all
my friends were to jump off a bridge, I wouldn't jump with them.
I'd be at the bottom to catch them.
It
takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like
someone and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to
forget someone.
