Bio

It all started one day when Steve got a call from Carl back in 1973, answering an ad from Kay Kaylie's Music in the OLD Buena Park Shopping Center. Back then, we played at many high school dances and parties in the La Mirada / Orange County area. Those were the days of Shure Vocalmaster and Voice of the Theater P A systems, Hiwatt, Risson, and Traynor amps, Whittier Plaza Music, Eulogy, Eclipse, etc. You know the "good ol' days !

Carl later dumped Steve Gage for another project, PANIC, which included guitar great Herbie and the root of all evil, THE Kenny Root.

Steve went on to hook up with various bands, Police (before the sucessful one). Then Steve got a break and hooked up with John Spencer to form the original AUDIO. With Scott Kohler (now in Kingrocker) and Scott macedo , the four were one of the first to play Hollywood venues like the Starwood, the Whiskey A Go Go, The Troubadour, just to name a few. Not bad for a couple of Orange county kids.

After these projects, we all took time to either go to school, or get real jobs.

After a few jam sessions, Carl and Steve decided to form Alfredo Hitchcock and play the best Classic and blues rock from the 60's and 70's, with a shot of blues like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Hendrix. With our own choice of hand picked jewels, we play what we love, so we are not just going through the moves like some other bands.

In February of 2001, Steve was given a wonderful birthday present- a new bass player that fit right in with the band. We are all anxious to unleash our songs to you and anyone that enjoys the same.

They do not steal your cigarettes.
