Welcome to Dark Lager's Page

I'm a member of the John Fogerty Forum.  It's quite an interesting place to visit where we share a variety of views from John Fogerty's music to various far-fetched topics.   Some of the exchanges between members can get pretty ugly.  I've been known to participate in a few of these discussions myself, but I try not to make it personal.  Everyone's got their own views of the world and no one's going to change them.  Having said that, more good things came from participating on the site than bad.  For instance, a few of us managed to put together a CCR/John Fogerty Tribute CD.   I would hope more forum members would participate on the next tribute CD.  There have been many pleasant, humorous exchanges between forum members.  I felt, if I met one of them on the street, I could easily have an enjoyable conversation on a variety of topics.  Actually, some of the forum members have met face to face and from what they described, it was like seeing a friend they haven't seen in a few years.  Below, I have provided two links.  The first link is an mp3 file of a song I wrote that was released on my band's album, PAY CITY released Oct. 31/2003.  Can you detect the influence and inspiration of my composition?  The second link is to a page I created a few years back on the biography of CCR.
