The Dennis McClung Blues Band, also known as “The DMBB”, is an unsigned band promoting The Blues. Their blend of original music and cover tunes gives them a unique style of the blues music. So inflactuated with blues music, The Dennis McClung Blues Band embraces various styles of one of America's only true art forms, the Blues. Chicago Blues has greatly influenced The DMBB because of the ryhthm in the rhythm and blues, as well as the honesty in the blues music. A great blues artist once said: “If you ain’t diggin’ the blues, you gotta hole in your soul”. It is the goal of The DMBB to touch the very core of your soul with their rhythm and blues music. The Band performs rhythm and blues in the form of Chicago Blues music, Memphis Blues music and Texas Blues music. The Band is currently promoting the new CD "Live Out Of The Ordinary", around the regional area of West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Maryland. As the Bands popularity grows with each hot show of rhythm and blues, their fans reach from outside of West Virginia. The blues bands family of fans include the neighboring states of Ohio Pennsylvania, and Maryland. The Dennis McClung Blues Band has CDs available for sale. The Bands debut CD is entitled "Prisoner of the Blues", and can be purchased on the internet at and TowerRecords.com or at several retail outlets around Clarksburg and Fairmont West Virginia. The Dennis McClung Blues Band has won several band competitions in Marietta Ohio, and even won a trip to compete on Beale Street in Memphis Tennessee.
Dennis McClung has shared the stage with such blues performers as Sandra Hall and her backup band formally of the Junior Wells Band, and BB Coleman - Memphis Tennessee blues recording artist. The band has also performed at wine and jazz festivals and venues such as The Heritage Port Amphitheater in Wheeling West Virginia, Black Heritage Festival & Italian Heritage Festival Pasta Cookoff in Clarksburg West Virginia, Summer Concert Series in Wheeling West Virginia, performed at the 2003 Heritage Blues Festival in Wheeling WV with the likes of Debbie Davies, John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, Corey Harris and the 5x5 Band, Walter Trout and the Radicals, and the Little Yough Summer Music Festival in Oakland Maryland.
