When melody gets heavy, and style becomes essential, you get Bern. His style comes from influences like Kurt Cobain, Chino, and even Freddie Mercury, and then he expands on those influences with Faith No More, Korn, Staind, Drowning Pool, etc., etc. His lyrics tell stories, things that can or have happened to anyone. They describe emotions that can we can all relate to as human beings. Previously in a band called Fixmixster, Bern began his singing career. His style was just then being born. Writing songs like "Call Me Crazy," and "Dysfunctional Family," he was discovering what he could be, musically. The band went their separate ways, and Bern was on the hunt for a new band. Thanks to his Girlfriend, Nellie who put an ad in Loot USA to let the world know that Bern is looking for a band, Bern tried out for what was then, a band with no name, and is now Undermine X. During that audition, they wrote "Lost." Bern is what gives the band their own sound. He uses soothing melodies, and rageful screaming to get his message across, And when you listen to this band, that message is loud and clear.
