Jo, Founder of Undermine X, is the soul of this band. Mainly influenced by Vinnie Paul of Pantera, and Lars Ulrich of Metallica, He also gets his style from bands like Slayer, Megadeth, Korn, The Deftones, Among Thieves, VOD, Taproot, Staind, Skid Row, Snot, Static X, Overkill, Fear Factory, and so many more. His hard hitting, to the point style of drumming is one of the key factors to this band. Songs usually start off with Pete or Kevin presenting one or two riffs, and Jo puts something behind it to start it off, then when the song is complete, touches it up to fit Bern's vocals. But sometimes, songs start off with Jo humming a melody for a riff, which is how Eye For Eye was written. Or he plays a basic beat, and Pete, Kevin or Karlo would put a riff to that, which brought out "Fear Me." His style is not like any other drummer, and gives them that "pound to the chest" feel in their songs. He pretty much proves that the drummer is in fact the backbone of a band.
