Karlo has been playing bass long enough to know what style is all about. His style of bass playing comes from influences like Cliff Burton of Metallica. Most bassists go hand-in-hand with the drummer, but Karlo's style blends in with everything, yet stands out. Karlo helped form the band with Jo. They wrote songs like "Seed," which is a tribute to one of the sickest, heaviest metal bands in the world, Pantera. Karlo had to leave the band shortly after Chris joined, due to personal reasons. While Karlo was gone, a close friend of the band, Andrew filled in. In march of 2001, Karlo rejoined Undermine X. When Karlo was basically trying out to rejoin the band, "Fear Me" was written. Since then, songs like "Leave," "Why," and "How It Feels" were written all at the same time. Karlo definitely helped complete UMX, and his style is one of the many factors that molds the original sound that the band has.
