Worm

Now I’m left cold and deranged,

My palms are now sweating,

But you won’t see me sweating,

All these stupid trees,

Fall and crush my aching knees,

I see a shiny brand new thing,

But then it shrivels and dies after its scream,

I want to fly away from here,

Lose my thoughts and all the fear,

I’m sorry for myself ‘cause now I am hurt,

And I slowly become one with the dirt.
