    '03 LOCK-IN

Praise the living GOD in the highest for what He performed at last years 4th Annual Youth Lock-In @ Oak Meadows Community Worship Center. The official count is still being counted. 31 churches were represented @ the lock-in, more than double from last year. Our Youth Pastor T.C. Villalobos and all guest M.C.'s through out the night had an exciting time handingout, well throwing actually, candy and gum to all in the audience.
Guest MC's were Maria Jonas (Fresno), Eric Davis (Missouri City), Marcus Session (Austin), Emanuel Jonas (Fresno), Maurice May (Missouri City), Cory Bacon (San Antonio), T'Noya Thompson (Cy-Fair)
Performers that night were Dre and church fam from Oklahoma, Adrian Mayfield from East Sunnyside CoGoP, Marian "ENOCH" Green from Reigning Glory Church, & Emanuel Jonas from Fresno CoGoP
Praise & Worship by Tx. City CoGoP Youth & Liberty Worship Center
Speakers for the night were Andrea Taylor from Liberty City CoGoP, Randy Mathews from Fort Worth CoGoP, & Timothy Varlack from East Sunnyside CoGoP
James Barto, Our State Youth Leader, was presented an award for his outstanding dedication and support to the youth in the state of Texas
Cy-Fair's Hip Hop Dance Group P287 choreographed by T'Noya Thompson did a great job performing to Stacy Orrico's Tight

Larry Craig, Mark Hobson, Cory Bacon were that night DJ's workin' the PA and trying to work out the wireless mic situation. It was an awesome and beautiful sight to see God's young people worshiping, crying, and praying to Him at the altar that morning. Performers for the night and wee hours of the morning were Enoch, Dre and church boy fam, Adrian Mayfield & Emanuel Jonas. Prizes as always were drawn, picked, given, tossed, thrown, handed, sprayed, ate, wore, read, passed, grabbed, squashed, split, and heard to say the least. Games like before were wet, icky, smelly(ask Melody Plank), slimy, nasty, raw(ask Manuel Gonzales), gagging, sack jumping(Breanna Davis), hobbie laughing (ask Adrian Mayfield), full of shaving cream on hair & faces, bouncing beachballs, dancing, all Youth Leaders and representatives were lined up in front of the pulpit so the crowd could pick two to be dipped in buckets of ICE COLD WATER. The faces of Mark Hobson & T.C. Villalobos were dunked in very very COLD WATER. Around 180 hotdogs, two boxes of nacho chips, 2 bags of fritos, 2 cans of chili, 2 cans of cheese, 48 gushers (snack food), 38 red bulls (energy drink), & 24 starbucks mocha (frappuccino) were consumed for dinner, and snacks at 3:45 a.m. Breakfast was at 7:00 in the morning. Shaving cream was secretly brought and used by a handful of youth without permission to say the least.

TESTIMONIES FROM '02 LOCK-IN

Praise GOD to the highest for what He performed at YOUTH LOCK-IN 02'. We had a great time with that many young in the house. At 10p.m. the official count was 180 and more still came after that, but a we did not do a recount, 14 churches were represented their at the lock-in. Our Youth Pastor T.C. Villalobos and Gordon Prendergast M.C. through out the night, well Gordon fell out around 3:30 so we had a few fill-in M.C. that morning. Davion Prendergast with the help of Mark Hobson were that night DJ's workin' the music and turntable. Pastor Cogburn & Pastor Tolman had God's Annoiting over them as brought the messages that night well one was around 1:30 in the morning. It was an awesome and beautiful sight to see God's young people worshiping, crying, and praying to Him at the altar that morning. Performers for the night and wee hours of the morning were Red Letters, P.R.O.P.H.E.C., & Emanuel Jonas. Prizes were given, tossed, thrown, handed, sprayed, ate, wore, read, passed, grabbed, squashed, split, and heard to say the least(you would have had to be there to smirk.) Games, well lets just say there was plastic laid down on the floor 3 times lots of shaving cream on faces & chairs, male cheerleaders with a makeover, female camo faced warriors, wet faces, beachballs, jumping, dancing, all 14 Youth Leaders and represntatives were blind-folded and hosed down with silly string by their own youth, well plenty more and the list goes on. BBQ ribs, sausage, & chicken was consumed for dinner, and snacks at 3:30 a.m. and alot of other stuff for breakfast at 6:30 in the morning. T.C. (Cy-Fair), Nathan (Cloverleaf), & James (Cy-Fair) had their hair dyed BLUE, very Blue!
I was very blessed to be part of The Third Annual Cy-Fair lock-in (held at Oak Meadows Community Worship Center). I was inspiring to see 175 youth and youth leaders in one place to worship, hear from God,and fellowship. God truly blessed. I'm looking forward to next year. Mark Hobson,Oak Meadows C.W.C. Youth Pastor
The 3rd Annual Youth Lock-In was the best so far! It was great to see everybody from around the Houston area worshipping God and having fun at the same time. It was a good time to get fired up for the Lord before school starts. I know that God will continue to show us throughout the year different ways that we can serve him and reach the lost at the same time. Emanuel Jonas, Fresno C.o.G.o.P
Thanks so much for the invite. We did have a good time. I especially enjoyed the time that I got to spend sharing with friends I hadn't gotten to see in a while. I felt ministered to by this, but also, really enjoyed the fellowship. Andrea Taylor, Liberty City C.o.G.o.P
I had so much fun at the lock-in!!! I wanna say thank you for all the hard work! It really paid off, the lock in really blessed me, and many others!!! God was certainly there, and I know some lives were changed. Plus it was just really fun! Oh yeah! Amy McDaniel, C.W.C
I just want to thank the Lord for the wonderful things he did the night of the lock-in. I felt his presence and the presnece of the Holy Spirit. I am proud of my youth group who brought three guests with them. These guests have attended youth meetings on Wednesday, but have never really done much outside of those meetings, so I am glad that they came and saw the wonderful works of the Lord. Continue to pray for our Youth Group that the guests that do attend will make us a regular home for them and possibly for their parents. Praise the Lord for all he has done. Travis Ramsey, Liberty C.o.G.o.P
Hey, it's Marcus and I just want you to know that I had an excellent time at the Lock-in. The prayer was great, the praise & worship was great and the games were great. Marcus Sessions, Cy-Fair C.o.G.o.P

A few weeks ago you asked us to give a testimony about the lock-in but ima do something different- give some encouragement to you. what you do for the youth is greatly appreciated and souls are blessed and won or re-won to christ at each lock-in. God truly looks down at the things that you are accomplishing for the kingdom and He smiles. as a young youth leader i try to find things to get our small youth group motivated and i look at the youth at cy-fair and that's the measuring stick for me. although mo city has lots of power and spiritual gifts we dont have that bond like yall do and that is really necessary. i want to encourage you to continue in the grace and annointing of God and you, your wife, your children and your seed will be blessed forever. God is truly worthy to be praised and the things that He is working out through you are amazing and i bless you for that and i will keep you, your family and your sheep in my prayers.your Brother In Christ,Kevin McDaniel- Co-Youth Leader, Church of God of Prophecy-Missouri City
