Matt Cooke! I love him! And so do we all. (Meghan) Anyway...As I said before, when a scanner is available, my page will improve.
I need to find a better picture of Cookie anyway...Well, Matt din't play too much this season, but when he did, I think he didn't look out of place at all. He might be small but he plays agressively, which I like. He can score, too, as he demonstrated in junior. The most memorbale thing about Matt Cooke was his first impression on me. In a preseason game v.s. Edmonton, he DECKED the Oliers goalie (Bob Essensa? Steve Passmore?), and subsequently got into a fight with an Oilers player. Not bad for a rookie. I think that impressed everybody and helped him make the team under Mike Keenan. beating out players like Josh Holden and Peter Schaefer. Well anyway, here's his profile!! More to come, I hope...
