Most people outside of Vancouver have probably never heard of Jason. He is another young defenceman on the Canucks, and he played a bigger role on the team this year. He didn't look out of place at all, and he is very underappreciated. The first time I saw him play was his game as a Canuck, against, guess who, his former team, the Islanders. I did not go to that game to see Jason. I went because it was Trevor Linden's first game back in Vancouver. Well at any rate, Jason got in a fight during. Unfortunatley, it was with the wrong person, Gino Odjick, fan favourite and the guy he was traded to the Canucks for. Everyone (...inclduing me...) was chanting "GINO! GINO!". I felt very sorry for Jason...who lost...but I couldn't help it. This was Gino we're talking about here!
