Pack 116 belongs to the Monmouth Council of Boy Scouts, Inc. and is located in the Battleground District of Monmouth Council. The Pack is grateful for the long time suport of our chartering organization, the Millstone School's PTO. Chartered in June 1963, by what was then the Millstone PTA, our Pack was founded by Mr. Ben Mazzucco. Mr. Mazzucco, serving as our original Cub Master, started with just 16 registered scouts. Tiger Cubs were introduced to our Pack program in 1987 and have helped our pack grow even stronger. Today, 36 years after inception, Pack 116 has grown to include approximately 105 boys. Our Pack consists of 3 Tiger Dens, 5 Wolf Dens, 5 Bear Dens, 4 first year Webelo Dens, and 2 second year Webelo Dens. Registration takes place in September of each year and is open to all boys, residing in Millstone, entering grades 1 thru 5. Parent volunteers are also able to register at this time. Pack meetings are scheduled on a monthly basis to acknowledge Advancements as well as to host various activities for participating scouts and their families. Den meetings are generally held twice a month either at the Elementary School or the Clarksburg Community Center. Meeting dates and times are at the discretion of the Den Leader. For more information regarding Pack and Council events, please check out our Calendar. Leader meetings are held the first friday of every month beginning in September and ending in June. They are at the home of our Cubmaster and begin promptly at 8:00pm. Awards must be called in or e-mailed (pack116bsa@yahoo.com) NO LATER than the Sunday before a Pack Meeting.
