To Whom It May Concern:

Before coming to Vancouver five years ago I had been learning martial arts for thirteen years. I hold a black belt in Shotokan karate, and had been learning other styles such as Hungar kung—fu, Wu and Yang Tai—chi—chuan and Aikido.

Having Vancouver the second largest Chinatown in America I decided to study kung—fu, so I look around to find the best of the teachers in the city.

It took me more than a year to arrive to Sikung Chow’s door, and curiously enough, I arrived there not seeking a kung—fu master, but the service of a traditional chinese doctor, due to a problem my wife had in her lungs after a car crash that almost took her life.

One of her lungs was perforated and she had to fight against death for months; after her recovery she was not cure completely, she had problems in breathing, she was always lacking energy and enthusiasm. The doctors said that she was cured and that nothing was left f or them to do.

I have training in acupuncture and couldn’t help her that much, so we looked for other alternative way of treatment for her, we visited some Chinese doctors in Chinatown, and they also said that they could not help.

In that search for her health, we arrived with Sikung Chow and he impressed us for his diagnosis, it checked perfectly with what my wife was felling. So she was treated by him for some months, and she recovered completely.

During these months, I came to know more about his healing techniques, and his kung—fu.

Myself and our two children were treated by him of many different small ailments, and follow a general detox treatment that improved greatly our health. All my family, included my wife, join to the kung—fu training, and I assure you not just because he was an excellent healer, but also because the White Crane kung—fu impressed me for its unique integral approach, and effectiveness in its techniques.

Since then, many of my friends and relatives have been treated by Sikung Chow, always with good results; and most of them have come from Mexico City to receive treatment. As there started to be many patients from Mexico City, some friends organized Sikung’s visit to Mexico, and now he has been there twice.

I write this letter in appreciation to Sikung Chow ,recognizing his compassionated spirit and his superb abilities in kung—fu, in healing and in ping—pong.

Sincerely Yours;

Carlos de Leon.
