Racing in August at Star

• August 2 - Really tight racing in the Pro Stock Division. The top 4 cars were neck and neck and Bobby finished 4th. In the 350's, the car was running great - in 5th spot and climbing. Unfortunately a driver thought he was clear when he was passing on the outside but caught Bobby's front end and finished us for the night.
• August 9 - An unfortunate turn of events. The leader got loose in speedy-dri coming out of turn 4 with Bobby right on his bumper. Consequently, Bobby tapped him enough to send him around with both car relegated to the rear of the pack. We came in 9th. In the 350's, we finished 6th.
• Aug. 10 - rained out.
• Aug. 23 - A lot of bumping & grinding, with the PS coming in 5th and the 350 coming in 6th.
• Aug. 30 - The Enduro racing began a little early in the Pro Stock Division. Bobby got knocked this way and that. He didn't realize it was a Demo Derby. Luckily we finished 8th. Some good drivers were involved in crashes that should not have happened - they were a bunch of animals.
