Because she has been a Black-doll enthusiast for over a decade, Deb is interested in everything related to Black-doll collecting. She enjoys collecting, discussing, and networking with others who share her passion for Black dolls. She has a web page that celebrates Black dolls, the All About Black Dolls Message Board, the All About Black Dolls Webring, and she founded the WeLoveBlackDolls Online Club at Yahoo! Deb is also a member of other online doll discussion groups. She has recently become a published author of the Definitive Guide to Collecting Black Dolls, Hobby House Press, Inc. Her book is available directly from the publisher, via online book sites such as amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com; and for a limited time, Deb will be selling autographed copies.

Zee has been a collector since childhood. A former doll shop owner, she now
sells through her own web site. She loves dolls of color and a few years ago founded the DollsofColor mail-list at Yahoogroups.com. It has been a golden opportunity to meet other collectors who share her love of dolls of color, especially Black dolls.

Deb and Zee both realized the need for an e-zine devoted to Black-doll collecting. Because of their shared passion for Black dolls, they decided to launch this project together.
At this writing, Black Doll-E-Zine has been Deb and Zee's baby for over a year and, based on the readership, the e-zine has been welcomed by collectors near and far. Because Zee desires to put her publishing efforts to rest at this time, Deb has "tentatively" decided to possibly streamline BDE down to two issues per year. The immediate plans are to go on a short-term hiatus until a more concrete decision regarding the publication can be formed.
In the meantime, the co-editors and founders hope that the "first and only e-zine devoted to collecting Black dolls" has filled the void created by its prior absence and that it has benefitted other collectors who share their passion.
