Welcome to this home-page of the Global Law Association. Big changes in world politics were the horizon when students, professors, lawyers and government officials from all around the globe got together in the late 1980s to found the Global Law Association, an organisation that could inform its members all over the world on legal developments. GLA's founders could not have realized the profound changes ahead, such as the break down of the iron curtain, peace initiatives in the Middle East and so on.

After the official foundation in 1992 the organisation grew and grew. We have managed to built a network of contacts all over the world. More than 50 different publications, resulting from research performed by our network-members, have been published up to now. From January 1st, 2004 the Association will have a completely renewed website. The past 2 years our board has been working very hard to improve our service to the members and we hope to present the results of our efforts here. Visit us again after January 1st, 2004 and find out about our activities.
