CHALET LEON MOTEL is a small, privately operated AND PET FRIENDLY motel, located on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake along side Hector Falls. Our central location allows you to make many day trips to points of historical interest and natural beauty. No matter what season of the year the Schulyer County region of the Finger Lakes offers many RECREATIONAL ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES for your enjoyment.

Situated three miles outside of Watkins Glen we offer easy access to many STATE PARKS well as the WINE TRAILS of Seneca, Keuka, and Cayuga Lakes. We are located ten minutes from Watkins Glen State Park, thirty minutes from ITHACA, Taughannak Falls State Park, Buttermilk Falls State Park, Robert H. Treman State Park, Corning NY, and forty five minutes from historic HAMMONDSPORT NY ,and SENECA FALLS. During or at the end of your day you can choose to enjoy any of the following on the premises:

• Access to waterfalls on premises
• Access to Seneca Lake
• Free use of canoe
• Spectacular view of sunset across Seneca Lake
• Picnic areas with outdoor grills

Hector Falls has a total vertical drop of 165 feet in three cascades. The picture on the left is of the second cascade where you may wade in the creek, relax in the sun, enjoy a glass of wine, and enjoy the spectacular sunsets

• All rooms come with private bath, and cable color TV.
  
• All cabins have bathrooms with stall showers (no bath tub), and no TV.
  
• All rooms and cabins have small rerigerators.
  
• Full maid service daily

Seasonal Rates:

Rates are based on a single night occupancy. Rates are higher on race weekends and for single Saturday night reservations. Also certain mid week discount specials may apply. Call for rates. There is no charge for children staying in the same room!

How to get there:

Coming from the South make right turn at Rt. 414 in Watkins Glen contune on Rt. 414 North 3 miles to CHALET LEON.

Coming from Ithaca make right turn to 414 North from Rt. 79 and continue two miles to CHALET LEON.

Coming from Hammondsport follow Rt. 23 through Tyrone to Watkins Glen, then take Rt. 414 North 3 miles to CHALET LEON

Coming from the Thruway (I-90) take exit 41 (Rt. 14) to Geneva, 414 South 40 miles to CHALET LEON.
