Carl Philippe Emanuel Bach was the third son of Johann Sebastian and a
brilliant keybord performer who wrote for a variety of instruments. He was
also a teacher and a successor togeorg Philip Teleman as music director of
the main church in Hamburg.

Published around 1750 when he was serving the court of the flute playing
monarch Frederick The Great of Prussia.
