Welcome to the best songwriting contest on the internet. We permanently link to the selected songwriters' websites, publish their songs on our compilation CD, and pay cash awards of $500, $200 and $100.

Each contest ends when it is filled with only 80 songs so you are not competing against thousands of other songs. In our 2nd contest, 13% of our songwriters were selected for our compilation CD. MUSIC PRODUCER'S SEARCH

Here is a letter which we received on November 5th, 2002:

"I am an associate producer for a grammy-award winning producer in the LA area. We are in the process of searching for an artist to develop and would love to receive a compilation of the latest winners of the Whitefeather Song Contest--Danny Brooks"

THE JUDGES

We are fortunate to have the lovely and talented Gloria Loring as the contest judge for our cash awards. Her remarkable career as singer, songwriter and actress is highlighted in the link below. Check out her newest CD entitled "Friends & Lovers" and "By Request", a collection of hit songs which she sang while starring in "Days of Our Lives."

Charlie "Whitefeather" Phillips will select the additional songs for the compilation CD.

NEW PARAMETERS

For our 3rd contest, we are rearranging the parameters. To increase the competition and, thereby, the quality of the songs, the total number of entries will be increased slightly to 80 songs. We will also be transferring the production costs of $30 for each song on the compilation CD only to those who are on it. This will allow us to reduce the entry fee for all songwriters to only $10, a move which could also speed up the contest as well.
