THE WORLD
Description
As the Judgement
card represents 'judgement day' and the end of the world, this card represents
the period after.
Peace, happiness
and the end of the Tarot. The journey has been completed and there
is joy to be had.
There is
a naked woman on the card surrounded by clouds suggesting that she is now
above the earth and in the other realm and there is a wreath in a circle
around the card suggesting the cycle of life and death.
She is wearing
the banner of victory on her body and holding a wand in each hand.
She had the skills to complete her journey and was victorious.
This is
a pleasing image and one that shows freedom and peace. It is one
of the nicer images in the deck and one that means that we have 'arrived
home' and completed our journey through life.
Divinatory
Meaning
The World
is a positive card to see in a reading. To see it means happiness,
peace and success. It can also mean that things will 'end well' and
that everything will go according to plan. It can also mean that
the person will feel as though they are 'on top of the world' and will
have great luck and success.
This card
can also indicate travel abroad and relocation.
It is a
good card and it is never seen negatively, despite the surrounding cards.
