"Someone To Call My Lover "
Pop vixen Janet Jackson's "All for You" video has fared nicely, and she may be counting on her next clip, "Someone to Call My Lover," to do twice as well — she's releasing two different versions of it.
The first video is for the album track, and the second is for a Jermaine Dupri remix aimed at a younger audience. Both clips were directed by Francis Lawrence (Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez) and shot on soundstages and on location in and around Los Angeles. They will both debut the week of June 12.
Dupri will co-star in the remix version; since his sequences were filmed separately from Jackson's, the two won't appear in any of the same shots. According to a spokesperson for Jackson, both videos feature the singer driving up a country road, singing in her car and shaking her thang at a juke joint.
"Someone to Call My Lover" is the second single from Janet's All for You, and the track is based around a sample from America's 1972 hit "Ventura Highway".
"The Next Single!"
Hitmakers is reporting that "Someone To Call My Lover" will be released to US radio on Monday, June 11th. The first promos of the song will be shipped the prior week.

on the cover of TV Guide!
On Monday
Janet will be on the cover of TV Guide. There is mentioned that there will be two
special covers each depicting a different picture of Janet. There is an interview
with Janet. She talks about being single and about having kids. You can read
a little bit of the interview below:
Jackson and her co-writer, Rene Elizondo Jr., divorced in February 1999.
The singer says Elizondo was the one who told the media they'd married secretly
in 1991, and that they'd broken up.
"I think a lot of my friends were worried that this would get the best
of me, knowing how in love I was with him,'' she says in the March 10 issue
of TV Guide, on newsstands Monday. "I love really hard, and I am so blinded.
But the way I see it is, everything is in God's hands."
"I have so much kid in me. I don't really think I act like a 34-year-old,''
