College of Agriculture and Human Sciences is where you can find Ms. Ann Johnson. Chairperson and faculty advisor of the special interest orgainzation 'Club Flava", which was established on March 24, 1995. Ms. Ann Johnson as well as the agriculture program, prepares the students to perform at an entry level professional position in a broad range of areas including food, agricultural,natural resource marketing, production, distribution, merchandising and design,and processing.The degree program is designed to provide a generalists emphasis that serves as the foundation for diverse careers fields. Students enrolled in Agriculture are offered opportunities to gain hands-on experience through laboratory,field exercises, cooperative education and summer job assignments. Students completing the program are able to demonstrate varied skills in many areas. Guidance and support are provided to foster personal development and leadership skills essential for effective professional practice in the student's chosen field.
