  Its internal parts are phosphate treated. Its external finishing is carried out with a phosphate treatment and heat-cured epoxy painting. This allows the gun to be used in any kind of weather.

  MAIN FEATURES

  The MD1 .380 Pistol benefited from the long experience built up by several armies using .45 and 9, mm pistols over the year in the harshest conditions.

  Improvements were added to the MD1 .380, a practically perfect pistol. Besides, a severe metallurgical treatment, just like the one carried out on pistols used by Armies, was added which doubled the MD1 .380’s lifespan when compared to similar weapons.

CLIMATIC USE

All parts are treated exactly like all military weapons and the whole set is protected by a special oil which allows the gun to be used under any weather conditions.

Manufactured with highly resistant forged and heat-treated steel, the Pistol does not wear away prematurely, requires little maintenance and replacement of parts, and keeps aim accuracy correct and unaltered.

SAFETY

  The pistol is not subject to accidental firing due to occasional drop or unexpected situations. For this purpose, it is provided with 3 accurate safety devices as follows:

-          A device which locks hammer when pistol is coked

-          A device which avoids accidental firing when the pistol is semi-cocked

-          A Safety key, which allows firing only when the pistol is properly gripped
