Method of initiation

Pulling out the safety pin operates the grenade. The primer is then initiated by the percussion mechanism upon throwing of grenade

Performance

The grenade shall produce at least 1 fragment penetration per m² through 12 mm thick plywood at a radius of 10 m & at least 5 fragments penetrations per m² at a radius of 5 m. The safety radius is 25 m

The grenade is used against frogmen. The watertight pyrotechnic fuze ensures that the grenade detonates at a depth between 3 to 8 m. The safety radius is 30 m.
